You may hear or read terms like Involvement, Engagement, Participation, Consultation, Communication, and Citizen Voice. These are just some of the phrases used to describe the different ways of involving people.
For NHS South Tyneside CCG and NHS Sunderland CCG, speaking with people, and listening to what the public and patients have to say is very important. We need to have these conversations with people to share information about health and health care services, to understand what is working well, and to know what areas need improving or how things can work better for everyone.
We would like to know what you think is important when it comes to involving people, to help us to get things right. We would also like to know what you thing the CCGs do well, and what we can do better.
You can also take part in a short phone interview to tell us more. If you would like to take part, please let us know at the end of the survey or email lisa.anderson7@nhs.net
We really appreciate your support in helping us to understand how we can better involve people. The information you provide will help inform the CCGs new Involvement Strategy, and will inform how we work with communities in the future. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me on lisa.anderson7@nhs.net
